Products for building

HUSAR 270 (270 g/m²) is a premium three-layer membrane with a monolithic TPE functional film, protected on both sides by symmetrical PP non-woven layers. This film transports water vapour across its entire surface, combining complete water resistance (class W1) with very high vapour permeability (Sd ≈ 0.012 m) and mechanical resistance. Compared to traditional membranes that use microporous PP films or monolithic TPU films, HUSAR 270 provides an even higher level of water protection while remaining permanently “breathable”. The equal thickness of the non-woven layers on both sides further reinforces the membrane, and their black colour reduces glare and accelerates the drying of new roofs.

The product remains flexible down to -40 °C, withstands UV exposure for up to 26 weeks (6 weeks without the primary covering) and achieves high tensile strength (560 N/470 N MD/CD). Thanks to these parameters, HUSAR 270 serves as a premium initial roof covering under all pitched roof coverings and an effective wind barrier in frame structures.

Applications of HUSAR 270:

  • Initial roof underlay for all steep roofs requiring exceptional durability and tightness;
  • Installation on full sheathing or directly on rafters;
  • Under ceramic and concrete tiles;
  • Under profiled metal coverings: metal roof tiles, trapezoidal sheets, snap-lock panels, etc.;
  • Under roofing made of shingles, natural slate and other small-format coverings.

* According to laboratory studies conducted under artificial aging, this period is based on average annual UV exposure from sunlight in Central Europe.
** The period for which the membrane remains on the roof without the primary covering should be as short as possible; the more sunny days there are, the shorter this period should be.
