Vapour - insulation films

Vapour-insulation films are used indoors as a protection of the roof construction and thermal insulation from the dampness from inside the building. Vapour-insulation films are installed from the inside, between thermal insulation and sheetrock, thanks to which the vapour does not get into the construction of roof or walls. In modern roofs and stud walls similar material assemblies are applied to stop the water vapour permeation and condensation. From the inside of the rooms the vapour insulations limiting the supply of water vapour and from the outside the roofing membranes allowing the water vapour to escape outside the construction are mounted. All types of vapour insulations have two functions: they seal the building partitions from the supply of water vapour and prevent the air flows which cause the heat loss in the buildings. This group includes the products of different diffusion resistance: retarders, regulators and vapour barriers. All types are mounted on the warmer side of the building partitions, i.e. in most cases from the inside.
