The Second Debate of the Poland Chemistry Campaign 2024 in Brussels

On December 4, 2024, the European Parliament headquarters in Brussels hosted a meeting under the theme "Polish Chemistry in the PL Presidency – The Manifesto of Polish Chemistry." The event was organized by Member of the European Parliament Krzysztof Hetman and the Polish Chamber of Chemical Industry (PIPC).

During the meeting, the proposals related to the discussed pillars were thoroughly analyzed. Representatives of companies affiliated with PIPC, including the President, Marta Półtorak, actively participated in the discussion. In their statements, they not only confirmed issues such as the influx of cheaper goods from the East, high energy costs, or the lack of adequate transition periods for new regulations but also highlighted their tangible consequences, explaining the impact of these challenges on the industry's operations.
