Barrier films

Depending on the requirements of the packaged product, the packaging method, and storage conditions, we offer films with medium or high barrier properties. This group comprises films and laminates in which one of the layers is a barrier material such as EVOH, BOPA, metallized OPP/PET, or aluminum foil (ALU). This packaging category, tailored to customer needs, can provide excellent barriers against oxygen, UV radiation, water vapor, and odors, while simultaneously preserving the aroma and freshness of the packaged products. They are used, among other things, for packaging in a modified atmosphere or under vacuum.
