Open flat bags and open bags with a side gusset
Flat bags are made from LDPE film or tape. The multi-layer film used to produce the bag can be colorless or coloured according to the customer's request.
Depending on the purpose of the packaging, the material is modified with additives: anti-slip, anti-blocking, antistatic, antioxidant, and UV stabilizer.
The bag can be equipped with perforation and/or micro-perforation (for venting the contents), anti-slip knurling strips, and a transport handle (cut-out). It is available in a flat or side-gusseted version, depending on product requirements and the packaging method. It is typically sealed with a top weld but can be adapted for sewing or gluing upon customer's request.
High-quality printing on the bag's surface is made according to the customer's wishes.
By implementing the principles of a circular economy, we produce packaging that can be recycled, and we can use recyclates for their production, including PCR (Post Consumer Regranulate).
Benefits for the Customer:
- When filling an open LDPE bag, either flat or with side gussets, packaging devices are most often used to tightly close the bag using a top weld. It is also possible to close the bag by sewing or gluing it. This method streamlines the bag-filling process compared to manual packing.
- A transportable plastic bag is a practical and durable package, easy to place on a pallet and to use. Using an open bag enhances safety and efficiency of storage.
- An open PE bag, constructed from thicker film, offers high tear resistance; the appropriate thickness of the film protects against abrasion caused by sharp edges of the packed goods and provides significant resistance to external mechanical damage.
- An open PE bag very effectively protects the goods inside, ensuring they retain their properties and are shielded against moisture, dirt, and dust. Hazardous materials can be transported and stored in certified open bags (UN certificate).
- The printed surface of the bag can serve as an attractive means to present information about its contents and/or the customer's company.
- The packaging is 100% recyclable.

Application:
Open plastic bags are used for machine or manual packaging of a wide range of loose or granulated goods. Open bags with a side gusset are particularly effective for packing materials with variable bulk density.
- In the chemical industry - as ideal packaging for chemical fertilizers, plant protection products, salt, plastic granulates, and many other chemical substances in loose or granulated form.
- In the building materials industry - for packaging glues, putties, fillers, bitumen, sand, aggregates, etc.
- In agriculture and horticulture - for packing peat, soil, bark, chips, lime, seeds, mineral fertilizers, and garden gravel.
- They are also used for packaging fuel materials such as pellets, briquettes, coal, or eco-pea coal.
- They are perfect for packaging food, as well as litter and gravel for animals.
