The glued valve bag with a cross bottom is manufactured from multi-layer polyethylene (LDPE) film. The film used to manufacture a valve bag can be colorless or colored according to the customer's request. Depending on the packaging's intended purpose, the material can be modified with additives such as anti-slip, anti-blocking, antistatic, antioxidant, and UV stabilizer. Additionally, the bag can feature perforation and/or micro-perforation (to vent the contents) and anti-slip knurl strips. We offer the option to include additional hot-melt seals and a carrying handle.

A valve bag with a cross bottom is typically filled through a valve located in the upper part of the packaging, except for valve bags with a handle. The bag's special design allows it to self-seal after filling, assuming a cuboid shape. It features an internal or pocket valve for various types and variants. High-quality printing on the bag's surface is customized according to the customer's preferences, and printing on the lid and bottom of the bag is also possible. Obtaining a UN certificate for dangerous goods is feasible.

By adhering to the principles of a circular economy, we produce recyclable packaging and incorporate recyclates into their production, including PCR (Post Consumer Regranulate).

Benefits for the Customer:

  • Using a valve bag enhances the packaging process by eliminating the need for additional sealing devices. The bag's filling is quick, safe, and clean.
  • The valve bag offers practical packaging, easy to place on a pallet and use. After filling, it assumes a cuboid shape, optimizing space usage during loading and ensuring convenient transport, safety, and efficient high storage.
  • The valve bag boasts high tear resistance. Its film thickness minimizes abrasion risk from sharp edges of the packed goods, guaranteeing high resistance to external mechanical damage.
  • It perfectly protects the contents, ensuring a tight seal, maintaining the goods' properties, and safeguarding against moisture, dirt, and dust. Hazardous materials can be transported and stored in certified valve bags (UN certificate).

Applications:

LDPE valve bags with a cross bottom are utilized for both machine and manual packaging of loose and granulated goods across various industries. The recommended filling method is via weigh-packing machines, which precisely dose the goods and provide ongoing shaking during packaging for items with variable bulk weight.

  • Valve bags are essential in the building materials industry for packaging glues, putties, fillers, bitumen, sand, aggregates, etc.
  • In the chemical industry, they serve as ideal packaging for chemical fertilizers, plant protection products, salt, plastic granulates, and other substances in loose or granulated form.
  • In agriculture and horticulture, they are used for packing seeds, mineral fertilizers, and garden gravel.
