Products for building

Włochaty 200 is a roofing underlay membrane made of three polypropylene (PP) layers, combining very high vapour permeability with high mechanical strength.
The functional film is backed from below with a specially selected needle-punched nonwoven fabric. This fabric acts as a buffer layer that facilitates water vapour flow. As a result, Włochaty 200 allows water vapour to pass through more efficiently as the membrane's temperature increases.
Ekran Włochaty 200 can be used as:
- a primary layer that seals roof coverings;
- a protective and separating layer for thermal insulation under roof coverings laid on sheathing;
- a seal for coverings installed flush with the sheathing;
- a seal for "on-rafter" thermal insulation boards, such as PIR or PUR;
- a wind barrier (an air-open yet wind-tight layer) in wooden and metal frame walls;
- a seal and protective layer for thermal insulation in wooden and concrete ceilings.
| PARAMETER | VALUE |
| Material | polypropylene - 3 layers |
| Mass [g/m²] | 200 ±10 |
| Sd – equivalent air layer thickness [m] | 0.015 (+0.06/-0.01) |
| Tensile strength [N/5cm] | lengthwise: 450 (±140) crosswise: 400 (±140) |
| Elongation at break [%] | lengthwise: 70 (±40) crosswise: 100 (±40) |
| Nail tear resistance [N] | lengthwise: 300 (±120) crosswise: 350 (±120) |
| Water tightness class | W1 |
| Fire resistance class | E |
| Roll dimensions [m] | width 1.5 m × length 30 m |
| UV resistance* | 26 weeks |
| Period without main covering** | 4 weeks |
* According to laboratory studies conducted under artificial aging, this period is based on average annual UV exposure from sunlight in Central Europe.
** The period for which the membrane remains on the roof without the primary covering should be as short as possible; the more sunny days there are, the shorter this period should be.
